Project Description
To establish a sustainable Immunotherapy Network of leading research in the SUDOE area which will increase the critical mass of researchers and technicians of high level.
To create and consolidate a Virtual Center to provide support to all the partner groups facilitating their cooperation and sharing of resources and equipment. This center will also facilitate the exchange of information between these groups and with hospitals, universities, local and regional governments and related industries. The virtual center will be a reference point in Immunotherapy within the SUDOE area for the health professionals, the general public and patients who will be able to clarify their doubts in this field, learn more about clinical trials and about the latest research in Immunotherapy.
To develop and patent drugs for immunotherapeutic uses (tumors, allergies, autoimmune diseases) and initiate preclinical and clinical trials.
To promote technology transfer to local biotech companies that may be interested, thus enhancing their development, and to promote the creation of new biotechnology companies (spin-offs).
